It makes you wonder what kind of person would be able to spend hours, days, or weeks alone traveling, camping and cooking just to see what is over the next hill or around the bend in the road.
George has the requisite courage. He recently traveled 13,300 miles to the most northern part of Alaska on his motorcycle. He camped for 5 weeks on the back roads and carried everything he needed on his motorcycle.
He estimates he has traveled over 300,000 miles on a motorcycle. He has ridden in all of the contiguous states plus Alaska and all provinces of Canada, too. (George usually wears a helmet and boots but he didn’t for the purpose of this photograph)
