She was terrified about losing her hair. At her lowest point during treatment she was gaining weight, depressed, crying every night, and questioning her faith.
One day she was sitting in chemo and saw how children were scared and didn’t understand cancer. It was a turning point for her. She knew in her heart that God had protected her before and he would do it again. She was at peace, but worried about the others in her life that were so concerned about her.
She decided to write a book to help others understand that beauty is on the inside. She dresses as a princess and reads her book, “The Missing Piece”, to children with cancer to comfort them. She is beautiful inside and outside, too.
